Many women engineers feel stuck in their careers, struggling to break through barriers in male-dominated fields and achieve their full potential. The Engineer to Leader program provides personalized coaching tailored to help you overcome these challenges, build your confidence, and achieve your career goals, whether it's advancing to leadership or excelling in your current role.
My journey began in India, where I completed my engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Cummins College. Like any ambitious fresh graduate, I had big dreams, and landing a job at one of the world's largest telecom companies felt like the beginning of something great.
Driven by my passion for learning, I secured an on-site assignment to work on cutting-edge technology. However, one afternoon, as I worked alongside a male colleague, the client's tech lead remarked, "Women are good at repetitive work." To hear such a statement was shocking, my first encounter with the patriarchal nature of the corporate world. But rather than let it undermine me, I committed myself even more to the project, ultimately leading the team of engineers assigned to the project and establishing my technical authority and leadership skills.
A couple of years down the line, despite successfully delivering great results for my customers, I faced a pivotal moment during the promotion season. I was devastated to find out that while all the men in my team were promoted, none of the women were. This reality struck me hard, feeling like a punch in the gut. Although many of my female colleagues lost their drive, I channeled my frustration into determination, continuing to deliver consistently. By the time I left my first employer, I had achieved three promotions in six years, mentored several engineers within the organization, and earned recognition from the senior leadership team.

As someone who has often been the only woman at tables where critical engineering decisions are made, I've made it my purpose to create pathways for other women engineers to confidently claim their seat at these tables.
Through my Engineer to Leader Program, I coach early to mid-career women engineers, helping them accelerate their growth trajectory and develop into influential leaders in the male-dominated engineering field.

While these are our key focus areas, it’s important to note that the action plan will be uniquely customized to you, based on your individual goals and challenges. The duration of our collaboration can range from 8 weeks to 12 weeks depending on your needs and goals. Typically, coaching sessions are scheduled regularly, such as weekly or fortnightly, to provide consistent support and progress.
